Edward Joseph Kane, of 56 Dow Street, Belleville, N.J., was born on June 8, 1889, in Belleville, Essex County, New Jersey. At the time of his draft registration he was a leather worker at Seton Leather Co., on Verona Avenue in Newark.

Kane died while in service.
