Local Soldier Dies in Crash at Nutley (May 7, 1942) -- Pvt. Stanley E. Reynolds, 27, of Malone Avenue was killed in an automobile accident in Nutley on May 3. A teacher was also killed in the accident and another person badly hurt. Pvt. Reynolds had been in the Army for two months. He had been stationed at Fort Belvoir, Va.
